Aliene Delores Ramsey Lippoldt age 86, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Norman Regional Hospital, Norman, Oklahoma. She was born on November 15, 1929, in Walsh, CO to Roy and Naomi Ramsey. Her early years were spent in Walsh with a short time living in Black Hawk where her Dad worked at the mine. In 1946 Aliene married Willis Lippoldt and together they lived in Walsh and raised four children, Wynn, Lindy, Nema and Elmer. Aliene worked at the Walsh Variety Store; however her full time job was wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a shining example of the Christian faith to her family and friends. After Willie's death in 2000 she moved to Bridge Creek, Oklahoma, to be closer to her family. Her lifelong hobbies were reading, puzzles, crocheting, sewing and playing games. She was the Queen of both card and board games and if you ask any of her grandchildren she was known to win at any and all cost. She enjoyed her meetings with the Red Hat Society and you were always welcome to stay in her room at the cabin, but "don't touch her hats." She enjoyed her season tickets to the OU basketball games and would schedule family time around game times. Those of us south of the Red River questioned this new past time. Aliene is preceded in death by her husband Willis, son Lindy, parents Roy and Naomi, and siblings Neil and Barbara. She is survived by her brother Duke Ramsey (Rhonda) of Katy, TX, children Wynn Lippoldt (Denise) of Newcastle, Ok, Nema Decker (Alan) Enid OK, and Elmer Lippoldt (Lisa) Sachse, TX. Grandchildren: Anna Elder, Ryan Lippoldt, Dusty, Andy, Damien, Kristelle and Kabrina Decker; Logan and Breckin Lippoldt. Great-Grandchildren: Natalie Elder; Silas, Adler and Elizabeth Lippoldt; Tessa, Taylor and Asher Decker; Levi and Kymbre Ford.
