Bart James Humphreys

Bart James Humphreys, age 52, of Crowley County Nursing Center in Ordway, Colorado, passed away March 3 ^rd , 2021. Bart was born December 15 ^th , 1968 to Rick and Priscilla (Darity) Humphreys of Walsh Colorado.

Bart grew up in Walsh Colorado with two older siblings Angie and Clete. He graduated from Vilas High School in 1987. He played many sports in high school, was on the Walsh Fire Department, and did some farming and truck driving. He was one of a kind!

In 2000 he moved to Battle Mountain, Nevada. He worked at Barney Trucking and Atlas Towing & Recovery. Bart was a hard worker and lived life to the fullest. On the side he started racing cars. He made lifelong friends from coast to coast. Bart was a great uncle to the Gollihar Boys with wild times and stories to tell, memories they will hold forever. Bart battled Multiple Sclerosis for many years, he gave his all through it. The last 14 months of his life he lived in Crowley Nursing Home in Ordway, Colorado, which was six miles from his sister's house (Angie). Bart was able to go visit for holidays, birthdays, and of course the Super Bowl, GO KC CHIEFS, or just come over to hang out and play cards. Bart you will be missed by so many.

Bart is preceded in death by his father Rick Humphreys, great-grandmother Dorothy Thorny, great-grandfather Lewis Humphreys, and Pat & Hattie Darity.

He is survived by his mother Priscilla Humphreys & Carl Hebberd of Vilas, Colorado; sister Angie (Mike) Willhoite of Crowley, Colorado, and brother Clete (Stephanie) Humphreys and Paul of Battle Mountain, Nevada; nephew Jeremy (Kari) Gollihar and their children Kaylynn Golliharand Eric and Eithin Packer of North La Junta, Colorado and nephew Donnie (Aubrie) Gollihar and their sons Wesley & Lennix Gollihar of Elco, Nevada and nephew James Gollihar of Crowley, Colorado.  Also surviving are numerous cousins, aunts & uncles, and friends from coast to coast.
