Betty Joan (Lusk) Cook passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 92
at the Southeast Colorado Hospital, Springfield, Colorado. Betty was born
in a dugout south of Springfield on July 15, 1931, to Rhual Earnest and
Ruth Ann (Nelson) Lusk.

On August 10, 1948, Betty married the love of her life Elmer Dean Cook in
Clayton, New Mexico. She was a housewife, mother, grandmother, great
grandmother, musician and performer, Mary Kay consultant, and writer.

Survivors include son Ernie and wife Peggy, Cimarron, Kansas; son Larrell
and wife Beth of Augusta, Kansas; son Alan and Docia of Walsh;
grandsons Dustin, Brant, Jaron, and Zachary; and granddaughter Amber
and their families. Also surviving are Clete's family, and a host of family and
friends. Special niece Patty Johnson, and always on call nephew, Kelly
Lusk.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Dean, her parents, a sister
Kathlene, a brother Howard, and grandson Clete.
