Obituary

Betty Hebberd was born on April 26, 1950 to Elmo and Delora Hiner at the hospital in Springfield. Betty was the youngest of five children. She lived in Edler and attended school there until fourth grade when the school closed; she then attended school in Springfield.

Betty graduated from Springfield High School in May of 1968. She then met the love of her life, Kenny Hebberd, and they married June, 2, 1968.

To this union four children were born; David, Trisha, Geston and Kayla. Betty and Kenny were married for 39 years. Betty loved her family very much.

Betty was a hard worker. She enjoyed all her jobs whether it was the wheat field, convenience store, school or the grocery store. She never complained about anything. Betty also never met a stranger. She really liked working at the Walsh Community Grocery Store for the last eight years. Betty loved this community.

Betty was also a big sports fanatic. She loved the Broncos, the Rockies and the Nuggets. She never missed a game.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Kenny; parents, Elmo and Delora Hiner; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leonard and Gladys Hebberd; brother, Lester Hiner; sister, Dorothy Reed; grandsons, Zackary and Tyler Hebberd.

She is survived by her children, David Hebberd of Elkhart, Kansas, Trisha (Todd) Malone of Walsh, Geston (D'Ann) Hebberd of Campo and Kayla (Bradey) Davis of Holly; grandchildren, Shelby, Danyell, Kylene, Keenen, Paige, Callie, Coulton, Cadin, Cody and Maddison; great-grandchildren, Aleah and Tyler; brothers, Lawrence (Leslie) Hiner of SeaTac, Washington and Chester (Terrie) Hiner of Ulysses, Kansas. She is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

Betty has touched the lives of many in her community and will be loved and missed by all.
