Carroll Gene Steen was born December 7, 1935, in Walsh, Colorado to George Earl and Fena Adolf (Litke) Steen.  He passed away November 17, 2021 in Colorado Springs, Colorado at the age of 85.

Carroll married Pricilla L. Thomas on September 15, 1962, in Ulysses, Kansas.  To this union three children were born:  Deborah J., Ricky D. and Shari B.

Carroll served in the US Army, stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas.  During his working years, Carroll owned an auto parts store.  He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.  His friends and neighbors were blessed to enjoy the bounty from his garden which he generously shared with many.

Carroll is preceded in death by his parents, siblings; Juanita Poff and Lorene Talbert.  He is survived by his wife, Pricilla; children, Deborah (Eric) Pfeifer, Ricky Steen and Shari (Matt) Rogers; grandchildren, Nichelle, Meagyn, Brianna and Katherine and great grandchildren, Gabriel, Alex, Abygail, Levi and Dylan.
