Obituary
Darrel Dewayne Hebberd was born December 11, 1940, to Leonard and Gladys Hebberd in Walsh, Colorado.
Darrel served in the United States Army during the time between the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He married Daisy Poyner and together they raised two sons, Kevin and Kelly. He worked 40 plus years as a technician for natural gas companies. He and Daisy made their retirement home in Eads, Colorado, where he passed away October 17, 2015, at the age of 74.
A memorial service was held October 22, at the First Christian Church in Eads. Darrel's ashes were interred in the Walsh Cemetery.
Darrel is survived by his wife, Daisy; sons, Kevin and Kelly (Pam) both of Eads; siblings, Carl (Priscilla) Hebberd of Vilas, Melvin (Pat) Hebberd of Vilas, Hadden Hebberd of Johnson, Kansas and Sharon Bixler of Eads. Five grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
