Dee Edmund Bishop passed away August 6, 2023, in Trinidad, Colorado.  He was 81.

Dee was born in Lamar, CO on January 1, 1942, to Edmund Francis Bishop (Short) and Agnes Finley Bishop. He attended school at Walsh Elementary and Walsh High School. Dee was a long-haul livestock hauler for much of his life and did a little farming and a few other jobs, but always went back to hauling cattle because that was his passion.  When he retired from trucking, he moved to Trinidad, CO where he spent his later years.

Dee was preceded in death by his parents, sister Zoretta and daughter Markita.

Dee is survived by his sons, Dale, Dustin (Vicki), Dallas (Renee), his grandchildren, Jacob (Tiana), Tyler (Alex), Cayden, his great grandchildren, Veryn, Ross, Brighton, Atlas and Myles. Also surviving are brothers Dean (Linda) and Orlan as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
