Austin, TX — Dickie Jim Crill, 74, died August 2, 2017 at home following a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, JoAnne (Smothermon) Crill. JoAnne faithfully cared for Dick throughout the difficult nine years of his decline from Parkinson's Disease. She epitomizes a wife standing by her husband in sickness and in health. He is also survived by his four biological children, Kiley Athanasiou, Stephanie Miller, Ike Crill and Kasey Daly. His blended family includes step-children Brenda Gray, Shaun Haggard, Jenny Moon and foster-daughter, the late Teresa Banister. Additionally, he is survived by his younger brother Bob Crill and Bob's wife Carolyn, his sister-in-law Paulene Crill, five sons-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, foster children, exchange students and 17 beautiful, loving grandchildren. He will be remembered by a host of friends, colleagues and business associates.
