On February 5, 2025, Leslie Yvonne Stephen passed away at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital.  Leslie was born on June 2, 1957, in Elkhart Kansas.  Leslie was the daughter of Jack and Hazel Hume of Walsh, Colorado.  Leslie was married to Jens Stephen and raised two sons Eric and Matthew Stephen in Ulysses, KS.

Leslie (Les) was blessed with a very magnetic personality. She was the type of person who never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone she came in contact with feel welcome.

Leslie is survived by her mother Hazel Hume (Ulysses); husband Jens Stephen; her two children Eric Stephen & Tracy Mohs, and Matthew and Jennifer Stephen; her brother Mike Hume (Walsh) and sisters Sharon Hume Krie (Dodge City, KS) and Jackie Hume Hogue (Arizona); five grandchildren Jory Stephen, Abbie Whittington, Aubrey Whittington, Myah Stephen, and Grayson Stephen.

She is proceeded in death by her father Jack Hume, brother Sam Hume, and sister Elaine Hume of Walsh Colorado.

Everyone who knew Leslie was aware, she was always in charge of every situation, so out of respect for the boss's wishes, we will not be holding a service at this time. We are planning on holding a celebration of life gathering at a future date.
