Linda Beth Hutches, 80, of Ulysses, Kansas, passed away on July 15, 2026, at Western Prairie Senior Living in Ulysses, Kansas.

Linda was born August 14, 1945, in Guymon, Oklahoma to Albert and Ruth (Smith) Berg.  She attended school in Guymon later moving to Springfield, Colorado.

Linda married Preston Hutches April 2, 1982.  In 1984 they moved to a farm south of Vilas where they lived for 35 years until Preston's passing in 2019.

She is survived by her children; Bruce (Kellie) Walters, Diane (Randy) Painter and Rhona Walters, grandchildren; Rylan (Robin) Walters, Kiley (Jeremy) Hanson, Bailey (Logan) Gear, Lisa (Frankie) Laredo, Jason Painter, Garrett Walters and Bryan Turner.  Eight great-grandchildren also survive.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Preston; her parents; brothers, Dewayne Berg and Ron Berg.
