Linda Lou Helton Eskew was born on 7/9/1947 in Lamar, CO to Wayne and Owretha Helton.
She left this world after 76 great years on 4/10/2024 from natural causes. She was at
Southeastern Colorado Hospital with her Husband Stuart Eskew when she took her last breath.

She loved her big brother Marvin and her little sister Patty growing up. She graduated from
Lamar High School in 1964 at the age of 16 (she skipped 6th grade). She then went on to one
semester at Kansas State College of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, KS (she came back after being
homesick) and completed Beauty School at Lamar Cosmetology School.

Her daughter Becky came into her life in 1966 changing everything for the better. The two of
them set out to conquer the world. She married her first husband in 1970 and shortly after
moved to Tempe, AZ. They moved to Sheridan Lake in 1973 and then her son Brad was born in
1976.

Linda started Second Glance Beauty Salon with her best friend, Patsy Colclazier in the early
80's putting both her children through college. She ultimately shut it down in 2003 when she
moved to the farm in Pritchett, CO to be with the love of her life Stuart Eskew. Stuart and Linda
met in September of 2001 and were inseparable from the start. They married on September 27,
2016.

Linda and Stuart loved to go to ball games and to go to the horse races. Linda could sit
anywhere and just "people watch".

Linda's hands and nails were always done to perfection and her nails were all natural.

Linda's biggest disappointment was her pain and inability to get around at the end. She wanted
to be mobile and do the things she loved.

Her children Becky (Erich) Kennedy of Denver, CO; Brad (Whitney) Hallock of Colorado
Springs, CO; Travis (Christy) Eskew of Pritchett, CO and Kimberly Gable of Springfield, CO.
Her Grandchildren Kaylean Orlowski, Rhett Eskew, Delaney Eskew, Leland Gable,
Jefferson Hallock, Essence Gable, Tobey Gable and Avalynn Hallock.
Her sister, Patty (Wayne) Ballard of Springfield, CO
She had numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Linda was preceded in death by:

Her parents, Wayne and Owretha Helton and her brother and sister in law, Marvin and
Fran Helton.

Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Pritchett High School
Auditorium. Kathy Leathers will officiate the service. Pall Bearers and Flower Girls are the
Grandchildren. The reception will follow for family and friends at the Branding Iron in Pritchett,
CO. Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Dykes Funeral Home in Walsh, CO
