Manuel Escobar was born on July 18, 1943 in Santa Barbara, Mexico.

He married Rita Orosco on November 17, 1962 in Springfield, Colorado.  To this union 2 daughters were born, Priscilla Jane and Phyllis Jean.

He is survived by his daughter, Priscilla; siblings, Joe Escobar, Luz Hargis and Lydia Burciaga.

He was preceded in death by infant daughter, Phyllis; wife, Rita; mother, Casamira;  brother, Oscar Escobar and sister Lupe Jimenez.
