KATHRYN'S OBITUARY

Margaret Kathryn Wann Holder was born June 27, 1936 and passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 26, 2020 in Walsh, Colorado at the age of 83.

She was the daughter of Herman and Neva Wann and was born in Booneville, Arkansas.  When she was young the family moved to Jacksonville, Texas where she attended school.  She had 1 younger brother, James Wann.

She married James G Holder on April 29, 1955 in Jacksonville Texas, they moved to Houston and then a few years later moved to Channelview Texas where they raised their children.  They were the loving parents of 3 children Mike, Felicia and Shannon.  She was a loving wife and mother and spoiling grandma and great grandma.

Kathryn had a wonderful voice and loved to sing and often sang specials at church and always in the choir.  She was a very talented artist, she showed and sold some paintings, but mostly painted pictures for family and friends and for her own enjoyment.

She was a loving mother and when the grandkids came along, she was a loving and doting grandma.  She loved family and everyone getting together, lots of talking, eating and lots of laughing.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James G. Holder, parents Herman and Neva Wann, her brother James Wann and sister-in-law Dorothy Wann and sister-in-law Brenda Foster.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Mike Holder and wife Lynn of Channelview Texas, Felicia Jones and husband Don of Walsh Colorado and Shannon Taler and husband Brian of McKinney Texas.  Also, her in-law siblings Opal Lou Cobb of Jacksonville Texas, Bob Foster and wife Tonya of Athens Texas and Donny Foster and wife Freddie of Ennis Texas.  Her loving grandchildren, Lindsey Alsobrook, Chris Alsobrook and wife Sharon, Kelly Hanneman, Scott Holder and wife Laura, James Holder and wife Laura, Joshua Holder and wife Koral and Preston Taler.  Precious great grandchildren, Devon Alsobrook, Annabelle Hanneman, Theodore Alsobrook, Amelia Alsobrook, Zoe Holder, Sophia Holder, Thaddeus Holder and Anastasia Holder.  Many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at 4:00 in the afternoon on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Jarratte Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas.  There will be a viewing/visitation room set up at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville Friday, June 5 ^th , in the evening and Saturday, June 6 ^th , in the morning.

Pallbearers will be Mike Holder, Brian Taler, Don Jones, Chris Alsobrook, Scott Holder, James Holder, Joshua Holder, Preston Taler and Devon Alsobrook.  Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Lindsey Alsobrook and Kelly Hanneman.
