Mary Jane McCrackin passed away April 27, 2020, at her home in Springfield, Colorado. She was 75.

Known as Jane to her family and friends, she is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry, and six children: Gerald (Dena) McCrackin of Pueblo West, Colorado; Lawrence Meisman of Granada, Colorado; Cynthia (Tracy) Casto of Doylestown, Ohio; Kimberly Lambert of Kingwood, Texas; Gregory (Annie) Meisman of Billings, Montana; and Debbie (Blake) Combe of East Uintah, Utah. Also surviving are siblings: Marvin (Ruby) Wright of Limon, Colorado; Robert (Mary) Wright of Arvada, Colorado; Charlotte Cook of Rocky Ford, Colorado, Norma Richards of Lamar, Colorado, and a sister-in-law Hazel Wright of Lamar, Colorado.  Jane is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and other extended family.

Jane was born on August 21, 1944, in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Charles Allen and Mary Anna (Hood) Wright.  She attended Holly High School until she met and married Lawrence Bernard Meisman on February 19, 1961.  Lawrence and Jane had four children and traveled/lived in various locations until settling down in Hartman, Colorado in 1972.  Following Lawrence's death in 1976, Jane married Jerry and moved to Springfield, Colorado, where he and his two children already lived.

Jane loved to sew, and in particular, enjoyed making Barbie doll clothes for children to enjoy and making quilts.  She also loved cake decorating, word searches, yard sales and watching the Denver Broncos with Jerry.  Jane also operated an in-home day care, lovingly assisting several Springfield families with their children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary, three brothers, James "Jim", Charles "Chuck" and Richard "Dick", as well as her father-in-law Ellis McCrackin, mother-in-law Dorthie Havel, brothers-in-law James "Junior" Cook and Darrell Richards, and granddaughter, Breanna McCrackin.
