On March 21, 2025, Max R. Piper passed away at Southeast Colorado Hospital in Springfield, Colorado.

Max is preceded in death by his wife Chris; parents Ivan & Pauline Piper; In-laws Jesse Stafford, Carol & Don Smith; two sisters-in-law Shelia Mason (husband Jerry) & Ruthie (Piper) Schmidt; nephew Shane Mason; and granddaughter Alyssa Piper.

Max is survived by his three daughters Trina (Patrick) Linck, Tricia McIntire, and Tamara (Mike) Rabenseifner; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Max is also survived by five brothers Ron (Sue) Piper, John (Annie) Piper, Les (Natalie Piper), Troy (Jen) Piper, & Ivan Dale Piper (Trish Brown) as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of loyal customers and friends.

Plans for a graveside memorial service are pending at this time.  Information will be posted on this site as soon as it is available.
