Sharon Kay (Hebberd) Bixler, Shay as she was known to her family, was born March 15, 1946 to Leonard and Gladys Hebberd in Walsh Colorado. She passed away at her daughters home in Montana on January 10, 2021.Sharon was born and raised on her parents farm in Walsh Colorado. She was the second youngest of her nine siblings. She graduated from Walsh High School and proceeded to go to Parks School of Business in Denver, Colorado where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree.She then married Larry Bixler in January of 1970. They then welcomed their first child Kristy in June of 1970. Cory was born in April of 1974. Their last child Bryce was born in October of 1980.Sharon worked with pride and delight as a postmaster for 38 years. Through those years she shared kindness and generosity with everyone in her community, creating life-long relationships.Sharon devoted her life foremost to her family. She gracefully cared for her husband, mother, and two brothers to their final breaths, then she moved to Eads, Colorado to help care for her brother Darrell. She did all of these things with abounding love and devotion to her family. This care extended well beyond her family, she cared for friends also as if they were a part of her family. After Darrell passed she stayed in Eads as she had found a new home and wonderful new friends. After Sharon retired she cherished time and laughter with her children and grandchildren, as well as her little dog Palin, always helping and sharing in their joys of life.Sharon continued to teach lessons of strength and courage to her final breath. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of all whom she loved.Sharon is survived by her children:Kristy Allen and her husband Aaron AllenCory BixlerBryce Bixler and his wife Autumn BixlerSiblings, Carl Hebberd and wife Priscilla.Hadden HebberdMelvin Hebberd and wife PatGrandchildren Alyssa, Courtney, McKenna, Hailey Savannah, Sullivan, Samuel, Annabella, Weston, Thea and Connor. As well and the many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Larry, her parents Leonard and Gladys, Siblings, Billy, Erma Jean, Kenny, Darrell and Lloyd.
