Much loved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother, Stanley Koehn, 62, of Walsh, Colorado, passed away April 29, 2015. Stanley was born November 14, 1952, in Montezuma, Kansas, to Loid and Glenda Koehn.

Stanley started his first threes years of education at Montezuma grade school in Montezuma, Kansas. When the family moved to Wallace County in May of 1961, he attended school in Weskan, Kansas, graduating with the class of 1970. He then attended Garden City Community College in Garden City, Kansas. Upon completion, he returned home to work with his dad on the family farm. He later moved to Baca County in Colorado where he continued in farming. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family, taking long trips, riding motorcycles, boating,skiing, camping and hiking.

Stanley served as an EMT for over 30 years. In that time, he covered the Sharon Springs area in Kansas and the Campo, Pritchett, Springfield, and Walsh areas in Colorado.

He is survived by his wife,l Pegi of Walsh, Colorado; son Devin (Tanya) of Bennington, Kansas; daughter Kenzie Koehn of Charleston South Carolina; son Bric Koehn of Fort Collins, Colorado; step-daughter Nytasha Hueller of Gates, Oregon, three grandchildren, Caleb, Dylan and Erika Koehn of Bennington, Kansas; mother Glenda Koehn of Sharon Springs, Kansas; sister Stacey (Mike) Cox of Weskan, Kansas; sister Sherry (Clint) Lawless of Sharon Springs, Kansas; five nieces, three nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Loid Koehn; grandparents Harry A. and Lizzie Koehn, Albert Schmidt and Leo and Margaret King.
