William Earl "Bill" Wright was born in Wheeler County, Texas July 10, 1940.  He was the eldest son of Truman and Evalyn Wright.

The family moved to Colorado when Bill was 4-years-old.  Their homestead was 6 miles south of Stonington.  Bill and his brother Don attended school at Wentworth and Stonington before completing their schooling in Walsh.  Bill graduated from Walsh High School in 1957.

He married Fern Murray in Walsh June 4, 1961.

In 1963 Bill graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Panhandle A&M in Goodwell, Oklahoma.

Bill and Fern have one son, Truman Wright, born March 20, 1968.

In 1975, the Wright Family moved from "the south place" to the current Wright Farms headquarters.

It was here that Bill passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 30, 2023.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Truman and Evalyn Wright and grandparents, Earl and Faye Taylor.

Bill is survived by his wife Fern (Murray) Wright of Walsh, brother Don (wife Marsha) of Walsh; son Truman (wife Angie) Wright of Walsh; Earl (wife Leslie) Taylor of Fort Pierce, FL; Two grandsons Jacob Wright and Justin Wright of Walsh; and other family and friends.

Casket bearers for Bill's service were Jacob Wright, Justin Wright, Richard Robbins, Everett Brisendine, Bill Carwin and Shawn Wright.

Honorary casket bearers were Bob Gourley, Don Albert and Don Wright.
