Kenton D. Dykes is a third-generation funeral service provider.
Kenton graduated from Walsh High School in 1974. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Funeral Services Education from Central State University in Edmond, Oklahoma. Kenton gained valuable experience working for Smith & Kernke Funeral Home and Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Funeral Home while attending college.
After graduating from CSU in 1979, he returned to Walsh to work in his family's business. Kenton has been active in the Walsh church of Christ since returning to Walsh and has felt honored to play TAPS for military services.
Sandra Dykes, formerly Sandra Thompson of Vilas, Colorado, married Kenton on December 31, 2002.
Sandy was a special education para-educator for 16 years. She was also clerk for the town of Martinsburg, Missouri, for 4 years.
She is a member of the church of Christ in Walsh.
Sandy has two daughters; Jessica and her husband, Chuck, and son, Wyatt, living in Wichita, Kansas and Jordan who currently resides in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
Cullen is a fourth generation funeral director and embalmer. He graduated from Walsh High School in 2012 and attended Arapahoe Community College, earning an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science in 2015.
Cullen stays busy managing the swimming pool in Walsh during the summer and being assistant basketball coach during the school year.
